We finished reading this just a month or so ago! I totally should have set up a tea, but we were in teh process of moving. Never too late for a tea party though!

It’s so much fun! I think one of my boys favorite parts was the sugar cubes 😉 And of course the yummy food! Thanks for stopping by :-)

This is a great idea! Victoria Sandwich Cakes are very ‘English’ and were historically supposed to be a favourite of Queen Victoria- basically just a two layered sponge sandwich with raspberry jam and whipped cream filling! I have the recipe if anyone wants it! They are really easy to make and delicious!

It really was fun! And we were thrilled to have what would be traditionally considered a girlie tea party with a group of almost all boys who absolutely loved it. One of their favorite Book Club memories :-)

It really was so much fun. The recipes were delicious, but it was even more fun watching a group of boys trying so hard to show proper tea party etiquette! As simple as it seems, using actual sugar cubes was a huge hit. You should totally do this and be sure to take lots of pictures 😉
